FOCUS TAPE 2021 was a MASSIVE achievement for the label, one I look back on very fondly.

With a track from each focusonthe artist at the time, as well as some label friends, Aphextwinsucks as well as Andy pls & Temma (before they became artists on the label!).

Releasing this felt like a great achievement, celebrating all of our hard work in 2021. I still think this album very much holds on, though every artist here has greatly evolved since their work here.

This, however, wasn’t the final 2021 release for focusonthe. Little did we all know, the next album would change the label forever…
